Understanding Air Shower Room Design

Air Shower Roomis also known as purification air shower room, blowing shower room, air shower channel, or air blowing shower room.

An air shower is a necessary passageway into a clean room to reduce the contamination problems associated with entering and leaving a clean room.

Air shower room is a kind of local purification equipment with strong generality, installed between Clean Room and non-clean room. When people and goods to enter the clean area need to be blown through the air shower room, the clean air blown out can remove the dust carried by people and goods, can effectively block or reduce the dust source into the clean area. The front and rear doors of the air shower room/goods shower room are electronically interlocked, which can also play the role of an airlock to prevent unpurified air from entering the clean area.

The Air Shower Room Design mainly includes several parts such as fan system, filter system, nozzle system and control system.

• Fan system: The fan is the core part of the air shower room, and its performance directly affects the effect of the air shower room. Generally speaking, the fan needs to be characterized by large air volume, low noise and high efficiency.

• Filter system: Filter is the main component to capture dust, and its quality directly affects the service life and effectiveness of the filter. Generally speaking, filters need to have high strength filtration accuracy and long service life.

• Spray nozzle system: The design of the spray nozzle directly affects the effect of spraying and blowing. Generally speaking, the nozzle needs to be designed in such a way that the angle and direction can be adjusted so as to better blow down the dust on people.

• Control system: The control system is mainly responsible for regulating the speed of the fan and the spraying time of the nozzle to achieve the best blowing effect.
